FUNDING: Each participant and chaperone pays their own way. This trip is independently organized and led to provide a 16 day immersion experience in Japan at a do-it-yourself price. The goal is to make the opportunity inclusive rather than exclusive to the youth of Mishawaka High School.
IMMERSION EXPERIENCE - We travel Japanese style... Lodging in Japanese inns, eating in neighborhood restaurants, using public transportation, and dragging our bags all over the country. The highlight of the trip is the opportunity to become a part of a family in our Sister-City, during the homestay. The gift of Shiojiri's friendship is life changing.
