We are counting down the days to our trip, and especially to our arrival in Shiojiri!  Thank you host families and citizens of Shiojiri for welcoming us into your lives!  We will see you soon!

Mishawaka Youth will travel to Japan

in June of 2015.

16 Youth (2 not pictured) and 2 Adults will visit Mishawaka's Sister-City in Shiojiri Japan.   2015 is the 43rd year of this treasured relationship!

Over the years, youth from Mishawaka and Shiojiri have visited each others communities.  Students participate in school activities, learn about the history and culture of our Sister communities, and gain a true sense of belonging through living with a host family.  The gift of the Sister-City relationship is life changing!
